Update

I dunno if this is just for Europe, but a new update for the internet channel is available as of 1st September 2009. This seems to include a new version of Adobe Flash. Also they've removed the cost for downloading the channel and anyone why paid for the channel with points will be able to download a NES title from VC for free. The NES offer will be for a limited time and hasn't been decided when its possible from (there will be a message on the Wii and on Nintendo's website) It's downloaded from the Wii Shop Channel (like the update for the photo channel was) Seems safe to download...Zsaberslash 11:09, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

Savegame - settings - favorites - bookmarks - 2009-09 update

Anyone else lose all your settings and favs? I got lot's of errors downloading from shop, so to troubleshoot I uninstalled it and tried dl again, more errors etc. eventually it worked, not too long in, but when it ran it wrote a new save. I suspect it's either the increase in favs allowed, or my removing it to troubleshoot... oh well. I'll try it on another wii to check, and it occurs to me I have a nand backup with the saves intact-- if I get really bored/curious, i'll check into that. (should have just kept hammering the shop channel i think... instead of trying to solve it myself.)

Edit: Anyone know if they modified the lostconnection/gotconnection notification? it's really annoying to have a fully loaded page thrown away just because the wifi dipped... I use my wii opera install as a logical alt-tab via my tv inputs, like many people online mention. [gta4 cheats etc] PidGin128 14:06, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

I think they did fix the WiFi connection snafu. If it's still there, just press - twice to go back to the page you were on. --It's me, Zack! PodTube 22:01, 14 December 2009 (UTC)

iPlayer

For those who use BBC's iPlayer through their Wii, the site no longer works on the latest version of the Internet Channel. Suggest not updating if you use this site, however there is a message to say that the BBC are working on a new version that's compatible with the latest Internet Channel. --Tequilatime 09:23, 21 September 2009 (UTC)
