Nice work, porting classics over to the wii :) djdynamite
Really nice port. It's completely usable, I wish though you could use nunchuck and classic controller's analog sticks as joystick, and be able to browse entire sd card instead of just wiixl/software. --Spec 18:51, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feeback, I will add those features to the list. I should be able to get them into the next revision. --Raz0red 20:51, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Very marvelous work! Even the 0.1 version runs my favorites. Thanks! If you could add support for all 4 joystick ports of the Atari 400/800 that would make it perfect. Playing M.U.L.E. absolutely is most fun when 4 concurrent players can join in. :) Bonzoid
- Ah, great point. There is support for Multi-joy in the emulator. I will add it to the list of items for the upcoming release. 4-player M.U.L.E. is the best.
Starting with cartridge (e.g. Pac-man) already loaded?
I know it's a shame, but all I am using WiiXL for is playing Pac-man (5200). Is there a way to have that cartridge loaded automatically at startup? I tried a lot of different configurations, but it never worked. --Zarchimedes 21:09, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
- Only for Pac-man? Heh. I am currently working on an updated version of WiiXL, I will see if I can accommodate this. --Raz0red 19:41, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
- I am sorry: I was confusing two different emulators. WiiXL behaves exactly as a port of Atari800 should be expected to when starting up. The emulator that does run my favourite game at startup is kat5200. Sorry again! (Btw. it is no longer just Pac-Man that I am playing. Ballblazer has got me.) --Zarchimedes 13:58, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
