:Also I would like to point out that Giddy 3 isn't a simple SDL port (does Wii SDL even support OpenGL?). The Wii version has been written specifically for libogc and GX. I put a lot of effort into making the Wii version polished, smooth and high quality. --[[User:Xeron|Xeron]] 08:03, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

::I'm not questioning the quality of your game, or the amount of work you put into it... I'm just wondering if people should nominate their own applications.  If your application is as good as you think it is (and again, I'm not saying it isn't) then others will likely nominate it, won't they?  I worry that self-nominations will lead to a slew of half-completed apps being nominated by their authors.  This would, like all good chain-reactions, encourage others to follow suite and make the selection process much, much, more laborious than it need be.  And, once again, I'm speaking generally here, I'm in no way trying to imply anything about your work. -- [[User:MetaFight|MetaFight]] 14:32, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

This page is reserved for nominating homebrew for addition to the Featured homebrew page. Please review the minimum criteria before suggesting an application. Note that an application meeting these criteria does not guarantee it will be added - the final decision will be made by a WiiBrew administrator.

Homebrew Browser

This should definately be featured. --Xeron 08:22, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Giddy 3

I'd like to nominate Giddy 3. As far as I can tell, it meets all criteria, and if it doesn't in some way, i'll fix it ASAP. --Xeron 22:19, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Also I would like to point out that Giddy 3 isn't a simple SDL port (does Wii SDL even support OpenGL?). The Wii version has been written specifically for libogc and GX. I put a lot of effort into making the Wii version polished, smooth and high quality. --Xeron 08:03, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm not questioning the quality of your game, or the amount of work you put into it... I'm just wondering if people should nominate their own applications. If your application is as good as you think it is (and again, I'm not saying it isn't) then others will likely nominate it, won't they? I worry that self-nominations will lead to a slew of half-completed apps being nominated by their authors. And, once again, I'm speaking generally here, I'm in no way trying to imply anything about your work. -- MetaFight 14:32, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

WiiEarth

I'd also like to nominate WiiEarth. I'm think it meets all the criteria, but even if it falls a little short, it is a really good showcase for Wii homebrew. My wifes aunt has a Wii for her grandchildren, and when she saw WiiEarth, she got me to put the Homebrew Channel on straight away. I never thought they'd be interested in homebrew. --Xeron 08:03, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Mplayer CE

I think the best "Media Center" program, I use it because it has all the features the other mplayer programs combined, easy to use and widely used by the wii owners. --Elisherer 08:47, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Wii Quizz

Wii Quizz is a delirious game quiz ! It is the better homebrew in the "Trivia" categorie. There is more download (on Homebrew Browser, on my website, on other websites), more languages, more functions, more questions, etc... Wii Quizz is in constant development ! --CashMan 09:03, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
