Somethings about your script
It would only work for x86 systems, and it doesn't get libfat-ogc, wii-examples, or gamecube-examples. It's also hard coded to get just one version of devkitPPC and libogc from one mirror each, if this script were to be in wide use, it would unfairly tax these two mirrors. It's also not very future-proof, and depends on the user using bash as his or her shell. LoganA 02:28, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
- Okey dokey. I'm lazy. And it'll get done sooner or later.
- 64-bit support should be easy (using /bin/arch), libfat, wii/gamecube examples would be easier, and devkitPPC/libogc other mirrors/versions would be harder, but still pretty easy. :P And 99% of Linux systems use bash, so I'm not too worried on that. EDIT: 64-bit done, libfat done, examples done, other versions/mirrors not done. But still, it was only a couple minutes. DOUBLE EDIT: 1.5 is on the main page, only without the different mirrors/versions. Vithon 07:56, 6 March 2009 (EST)
- Can we get SVN too? :D :D :D — SheeEttin 17:43, 19 October 2009 (UTC)
I modified your script so that it downloads the example packages and creates symbolic links to all 48 of the binaries so that the devkitPPC folder can be hidden (like I made it). You can see my .sh files at , but if you use them, please give me credit. ;D --Technomonkey76 23:10, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
