The Wii's Power LED consists of 2 colored LEDs: green and red.

Green LED: Hollywood is recieving power.
Red LED: Broadway is not recieving power (i.e. the inverse of it's DC/DC converter power state)
LED state table

Controlling
Unfortunately, the Power LED is not directly software controllable on the original Wii. However, with code running on Starlet, one may switch between the green and yellow states by turning Broadway on or off using the DC/DC converter's GPIO[check], and from the green to red state (but only one-way) by using the shutdown GPIO. On the Wii Mini, the blue power LED is linked to the inverse of the the slot LED GPIO (slot led off = power led on).
