Photo Channel 1.1 is a channel added in 3.1rev02, which the System Menu knows to display in place of the Photo Channel. It is only displayed if Photo Channel 1.1 dummy is installed. It added the ability to have a custom banner showing a photo selected, which is stored in the save.

Differences from Photo Channel

• Custom banner can now be set
• Uses different audio format
• HOME Menu is opaque
• HOME Menu no longer warns about unsaved changes
• Version is shown at the top left
• Different background music for slideshow
• Now uses IOS31, so the slot LED blinks when ejecting a disc
