Talk:Bash The Castle

I like this! It needs better in-game instructions and explanations of the ammo types though. And the controls could be made more "wii-like." For example, you could hold down the B button and raise the wiimote, then flick the wiimote forward to start the trebuchet firing, then release the B button to release the rock.

Some things you could add if you want to flesh it out more:

- Castles at different ranges (closer, farther) (might need to be able to zoom/scroll the map to see them)

- Variable Wind speed

- Earn Money from killing things (more money for killing things earlier)

- Use money to buy different ammo types

This is a clone of Crush the Castle so that's why those things aren't in it. --bg4545 03:54, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
I'm really anti wiimote flicks and movement as control unless it really benefits the game. I've played far too many games that make you twist your arm backwards to move when using the D-Pad would have been much easier. I'm not sure using these features would make gameplay any better. As for the other suggestions it's possible to expand on the game in the future with these. --Scanff 05:12, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, I don't really like that idea either. Waggling the wiimote in games has always been kind of irritating.WaxyPumpkin72 20:58, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
I agree on the waggle. Most times it's just annoying and takes away from the game, unless you can turn it off. --DrunkPunk 10:06, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Props

Just want to say awesome job. I love the flash version of this game. Physics FTW!! RazorChrist/TronCycles 09:27, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

I concur, excellent job! Keep up the good work. --DrunkPunk 10:03, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Code Dump?

I got a code dump when I ran out of "turns" to bash the second castle. Not sure what I did to invoke this though. Weasel 14:02, 16 March 2010 (UTC) Weasel

Hi Weasel, I think I know what the bug is and it should be fixed in the next version. --Scanff 17:32, 18 March 2010 (UTC)

Remake of "Crush the Castle"

Is this a remake of the "Crush the Castle" webgame? --Mjbauer95 21:20, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Yes it's a clone of sorts --Scanff 23:28, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
