Letterbomb may not work on SDHC cards, as it says that "boot.elf not found" when it's perfectly well there, but with a 1GB SD card it works fine. Anonymousacnt (talk) 18:41, 22 June 2013 (CEST)

Made redundant by Wilbrand?

Should the "Redundant" template be added to this page? Wilbrand has a web front-end now, and since it supports more versions than Letterbomb, there's really no reason to use Letterbomb over Wilbrand anymore. -- Emily Daemon (talk) 19:13, 24 September 2023 (CEST)

Maybe? How many people know about Wilbrand at all let alone its new web front end? LetterBomb surely is much more popular and it might be confusing to see it marked redundant by something few have heard of. The Wilbrand web site looks good, is it open source? I'd like to maintain a mirror of it if so. I currently do that for LetterBomb as well and it's been helpful the few times the official site went down. -- AndrewPiroli (talk) 14:42, 25 September 2023 (CEST)

Source isn't shared anywhere yet, but it'll come later along with installation instructions and some much needed comments and cleanup. :P

As for your concern about confusion, I don't think much will happen. Those new to modding will simply use Wilbrand instead of Letterbomb, unless they're using a guide that tells them to come to the WiiBrew page for whatever reason. For those who already have homebrew set up on their system, this won't be a concern at all. For everyone else, it can just be explained quickly that Wilbrand is overall better than Letterbomb, and the word may spread after that. -- Emily Daemon (talk) 15:08, 25 September 2023 (CEST)
