Cannot access official website, nor its forums. How can I get the game? Any help?balta 20:27, 23 January 2011 (CET)

Given all the moderately recent issues with selling homebrew, I think it would be wise to decide on a license and include it in all future releases. At least a text file with copyright information would help, perhaps even built into the game.

Superb game, haven't got round to having a good games worth just a few minutes here& there... :) djdynamite123

This is an incredibly fun game, I grabbed it an hour and a half ago and I'm already trying to perfect songs =D May I add a suggestion? Could you possibly be able to add a "Play Again" option after playing a song? Because after a while, going through the menus is a little tedious =P And also, removing the SD and selecting a song shows a CODE DUMP. It's not your fault and it doesn't need fixing, but I thought I'd just let you know =) --Murkantor 21:28, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Definitely, I've added it to my TODO list. The thing is that the stage complete screen isn't... complete (the designer's been busy these past few weeks). When it gets redesigned I'll remember to have that added. AerialX 21:32, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Awesome. Can't wait for the next update then. Murkantor 21:40, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Considering that it took me 6 months to release this one, don't hold your breath :P AerialX 21:55, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Just been playing again there, superb, really good no it now, does the HIGHSCORES,get saved at all? will be good if you add a network feature so highscores get automatically uploaded to your site :) djdynamite123

This is a really cool game.... But pleeeease please please add Classic Controller support. The Classic Controller has plenty of buttons in one place so that I don't get confused trying to use some funky weird controller setup where I'm trying to press buttons with both hands! heh --Mr. Reaper 01:15, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Heh, I never got around to mapping a classic controller setup because I don't actually have one. Feel free to submit a mapping that you think would work best :) AerialX 01:21, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
There are so many options with the Classic Controller.... I guess the simplest would be just to use the control pad to steer, and Y for left button, X (and B) for middle button, and A for right button. That way people could use either X or B as the middle button, whichever they prefer (I prefer X). --Mr. Reaper 02:01, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
What about allowing the player to choose the buttons they want to use? --Cyndaquil 04:44, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
that would make this homebrew a really extra cool game, control system is the only thing that annoys me...--balta 19:50, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
And can you switch the guitar strum button (flip it)? I hate how it seems to be backward. Anyone else agree? --Cyndaquil 04:24, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

culd you add the ability to choose witch instrument you want to play instead of jumping back and forward?--Pbsds 14:34, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

rb compatibility

is the game compatible with rock band instruments (it would be really sick to play this game with drums...) --balta 00:35, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

Not at the moment, no. Rock Band instruments are USB and I don't plan on investigating into USB for a while so... Either 1) Find a homebrew example that uses Rock Band instruments, or 2) Wait for Guitar Hero: World Tour instrument support, which will probably be sooner rather than later. Just something to think about in the future releases, maybe you could make some flames on the different notes or something, or make like transition effects on the moving parts on screen.

Soundtrack

I've added the soundtrack to the page, but if anyone wants to rehost them or do anything with the section please talk about it here before you do. If any artists of the music don't want their songs up, just remove the link from the page and leave a note about it here and I'd be happy to edit everything and get the file removed the file from the hosting server. Not important, but the original files could be played in winamp. Sorry if this text turns out messed up, I'm using a PSP.retrotails 09:44, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
That's true, but not everyone uses or would like to use Winamp, or would know where to look for the files in the SSW download. (I moved your original post for formatting purposes). Icefall5 19:48, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

Control Idea

I have an Idea for a control scheme which you could call "Drum Sticks" or something. You play with the Nunchuk attached, holding the wiimote in one hand and nunchuk in the other. To fire the left laser, swing or shake which ever peripheral you have in your left hand, and to fire the right laser swing or shake which ever peripheral you have in your right hand (Which, you can change which ever peripheral you have in which hand in the options menu). To fire the middle laser, you can either shake both or press any button and shake either one of the peripherals, just in case. Namo 14:43, 6 March 2009 (Atlantic time)

Seems interesting... the only problem here I can think of is the middle laser, which you've already mentioned. Shaking both would physically be awkward to do, yet pressing a button seems to defeat the purpose. OboeNerd 02:30, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
