We all "stand on the shoulders of giants" and want to thank those who have helped us. But we write wiki articles for the benefit of homebrew users. When they come to the wiki page of a homebrew, they want to know firstly, what the software is and secondly, what the software does. The first part of the article should satisfy these needs. See the version on 1 July. Read the first 3 paragraphs. Would a user with no prior knowledge understand better what kind of game your excellent software is?
If they are interested, then they would want to know how to use it, technical information about it and who to thank for making the software. These things come later, after the overview.
This wiki doesn't have many articles on wiki editing, so I will recommend some articles on English Wikipedia:
