Will there be wii remote support eventually?

Interesting. So for the beta home - brew channel, I load the channel, that loads the channel. First I should get a Game - Cube - Controller... Bletotum

Any Pics / Videos?

The Zelda icon is a lie

It doesn't really read the disc. :-( 130.237.152.216 16:34, 10 April 2008 (PDT)

icons

many icons for this homebrew on http://www.wiigen.fr/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=43&topic=4114.0

About icons

It's a bit small and hard-to-see at first glance especially in higher resolutions, I think you could keep both the smaller one in the infobox and the larger and more detailed icons outside of it. Although they don't look good like they are, maybe there's a way to get them to the left of the IB? Muzer 12:17, 8 May 2008 (PDT)

Homebrew launcher

Are the homebrew channel and the launcher the same thing? I understand that you need the channel or the twilight hack to install it, but do they do the same thing? Which is run homebrew apps? So is the launcher superior because the channel only lasts ten minutes?

Uh, the channel is a channel. The launcher isn't. 75.155.19.100 15:44, 18 May 2008 (PDT)

Channel order

what determines the order that the channels are in? Chosen One 41 02:22, 22 July 2008 (CEST)

My channels (for homebrew channel are in the apps folder, and the name of the folder determines the placement of the channel on the screen. alphabetically)ninjafish1990 02:28AM, 18 Feb. 2009 (EST)

Help

I have installed it multiple times but each time it won't let me choose the skin help!

Does any body still have this?

Can someone post a link to the Homebrew Launcher? If not then what other program can I use to load all my boot.elf files?(besides the homebrew channel, it can brick the wii)

Please sign your comments, and also, the Homebrew Channel has the exact same brick risk as installing something from the shop channel. And if you are that paranoid, then you shouldn't even be messing with homebrew. --SquidMan 01:48, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Request

i realize it may be too late to change this, but can this be made to support the file tree that the homebrew channel uses (APPS/)? the idea is, i would be able to set up my sd card to use the homebrew channel while i'm at home, but still have this on the root of the card for booting from the twilight hack at my friends house. yossi 13:07, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Can you make an option to disable dvd loading so I dont have to wait till it find no homebrew on my dvd. Also faster loadin of images for homebrew would be nuce. -Brainy142

Just another way to access homebrew... But with customizable icons...

Interesting program. It basically just runs the apps like the HB channel would, but you can customize the icons. It can still load the apps from the 'apps' folder, but they won't have custom icons that way.

I like the way you made this. Maybe this could be integrated into HB beta 10?

The only thing it is missing is that when an app quits, it reboots the Wii. Most apps normally go back to the HBC, but they won't go back to this launcher.

What was added in .12?

Okay, it was recently updated. But what's the difference?

Translation

The example lang.ini content on this wiki page has 17 definitions although the downloadable language files and the original Wii Homebrew Launcher website's sample lang.ini content only has 11. The example on the original website is missing the definitions for wiichannels, pressa, invalidexe, receptinprogress, connexionerror and nofilesfound. Which one is right?

I'm interested in making a Finnish translation for Wii Homebrew Launcher 1.0 but I'd like to be sure to do it right the first time
